Merrill Franklin represented GAFSED at the groundbreaking of the George M. Lanier Fire Protection Laboratory Groundbreaking Ceremony. The groundbreaking ceremony of the George M. Lanier Fire Protection Laboratory was held on Monday, April 21, 2014. This facility will be 2,400 square feet of state-of-the-art firefighting training. Training programs, which will include fully functional fire protection equipment, will provide Georgia Fire Service students with the opportunity to view, touch, and operate real fire protection systems.
