Welcome to GAFSED, the Georgia Association of Fire Safety Equipment Dealers. Established in 2000 by a group of dedicated fire equipment dealers, we are a committed association championing the advancement and support of the fire safety industry in Georgia.

Our founding purpose was threefold: to lobby for the adoption of uniform standards and codes governing the fire equipment industry, to foster goodwill among members, distributors, dealers, and manufacturers within our industry, and to develop or recommend policies and practices that stabilize the industry and promote public interest.

As an I.C.C Preferred Education Provider, we provide our members with access to the latest training and educational resources, ensuring they stay abreast of industry standards and regulations, including those set by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

We are more than an association; we are a community. We celebrate the achievements of our members and appreciate their tireless dedication to making Georgia a safer place to live and work. Our commitment extends beyond our membership, with active involvement in the broader community, including support for the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation and contributions to state-of-the-art firefighting training facilities like the George M. Lanier Fire Protection Laboratory.
