Another successful annual conference and training!

In January, the Georgia Association of Fire Safety Dealers (GAFSED), the Georgia Fire Sprinkler Association (GFSA), the Fire Equipment Manufacturers Association (FEMA), and several Fire Academy Staff Members met at the new George M. Lanier Fire Lab to discuss the future of this great project.

George M. Lanier Fire Protection Laboratory Groundbreaking Ceremony

Merrill Franklin represented GAFSED at the groundbreaking of the George M. Lanier Fire Protection Laboratory Groundbreaking Ceremony.  The groundbreaking ceremony of the George M. Lanier Fire Protection Laboratory was held on Monday, April 21, 2014. This facility will be 2,400 square feet of state-of-the-art firefighting training. Training programs, which will include fully functional fire protection equipment, will provide Georgia Fire Service students with the opportunity to view, touch, and operate real fire protection systems.
